That’s the question at the heart of the research being done by the National Security Agency and its contractors at the company called Numenta.

The NSA’s National Intelligence Council, the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and other contractors are working on a set of artificial intelligence algorithms that can learn from a user’s behavior and help them figure out what’s best for them.
